There’s so much yapping that I feel like could have been cut

Let me see if this book still giving 3 stars 🧐

It’s always the last 150 pages of the books in this series that has me crying. First Cal and now Evangeline. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I had to pause for a good minute to cry.

There are too many betrayals ready to happen. The Lakelanders are just oooh. Cal is too stressed as king and has no backbone. Evangeline is going to snap. I don’t blame Mare for leaving. I don’t know who is going to win or live. I’m so anxious and worried.

The war is over but it’s not for Mare. Maven’s commentary during the trade was hilarious. I still have no idea how this book will end.

If cal really loves mare then he needs to tell her to cut off those gray ends. I’m getting closer to the end that I want to cry. I don’t want the story to end.
