I want to stop reading this book more than I want to go home from work. I don’t want to quit a book. I’m making myself read at least 50 pages a day so hopefully I will be done with this garbage by Thursday.

On page 94 the author says “…the possibility of anyone ever publishing this is so remote. At least I’ll benefit from it as a form of therapy” and I hope they did and it’s so far the only time while reading this that I thought “oh maybe there’s an ounce of human in there”
