So so good. Perhaps I was too harsh on the previous chapters

“Furtive” this, “furtive” that. Can’t keep using furtive to describe people over and over.

So far very little has happened and most of the worldbuilding comes from tertiary characters and their implied conversations with the protagonist.

Still enjoying despite these issues. The world is specific and potent.
