I finished! I really liked it .. dark, and compelling. Got a bit gorey at the end! There's romance but it's not very explicit. It took me a while to really comprehend the magic system but it's compelling enough I kept reading trying to unravel it all. The end is a cliff hanger so I'm digging right into the second book.
