Not as discerning as you need to be- how many time are you trying to convince yourself.

It’s not the right fit if you are trying to force it. It’s like taking a pair of shoes… ramming foot into it.. your foot is not going to magically shrink and the shoe isn’t going to grow to fit you. Let them.

Stop pressuring them to change,
You can’t stop their behavior or actions

Model the behavior
Hope the magic of influence will work
Be prepared for 6 months or more

Pressure doesn’t create change it creates resistance to it

One of the hardest things to do is watch someone you love spiral

Let the emotion rise and fall, create space to process range of emotions. Feel all the emotions without immediately reacting.
