Her and her husband John moved to my small town in FL when she became pregnant with their affair child. Her daughter is the result of their affair and she used to write under a different name and started to gain traction and then she was outed as the mistress turned wife and then she kind disappeared into raising her kids. Then she popped up on Wattpad after lockdown but our whole neighborhood remembers the drama. The reason she's so adamant about not being published is because a lot of this would come out and honestly I get it. I think she's trying to protect her daughter and her son Logan. But yeah she's awful. She was the side chick for YEARS.

that is so crazy... it explains so much. you know that quote, write what you know, mark twain said it i think.. personally i think when writers have a style that is prevalent, they are writing what they know. it's no wonder why sometimes the OW gets more screen time and the fmc is such a dud... i wonder if the same could be said for maya alden, although i'm pretty sure hers are AI and they are simply updated harlequin romances.

Honestly I really don't either. They still live in my grandma's neighborhood and it was a lot of drama with the other moms and she kind of keeps to herself with her husband. But her daughter Jordyn was a kind of nice girl and really quiet. I just feel bad for her daughter because she was super young when this was all going down.

But yes our neighborhood groupchat in was going crazy when she announced that she was writing during lockdown! She really does seem to write what she knows because she really loves cheating stories which is a YUCK.

Yeah before she was on wattpad she used to write under a different pen name and her and John tried to start a publishing company called Mighty Pen or something along those lines and then I guess readers started looking into her as an author and then she was exposed as the mistress turned wife because it was still so fresh and they both left the midwest in a bit of a disgrace so now she just writes on wattpad and is adamant about remaining unpublished for profit.

She definitely writes what she knows imo.

It's kind of sick if you really think about it.. the mmc's cheaters or not, in her books are always forgiven (kind of like her husband) and she has groups and reddit forums where she gets to read all about how women were cheated on and that's where she gets her ideas from.. but readers love her work and 'cheating romances' are a thing nowadays she an audience that feeds into her ego.

I grew up in proximity to this woman and lemme tell you the cognitive dissonance that occurs in this evil woman's brain is actually CRAZY.
Her and John decided to get super active in the local Catholic church as a way to rehabilitate their reputation but also for Lynn to paint herself as a saint despite the fact that John's first wife caught Lynn and John having sex in THEIR bed apparently the affair had been going on for YEARS.
I feel so so bad for his first wife because of all of the pain Lynn delightfully brought to this woman. Karma will get her because she should be so applauded and celebrated on wattpad for her cheating stories that feeds into her own ego.
