I enjoy seeing the behind the scenes workings of Padmé, my qualms when it comes to how it is described or being played out is that I know her age and would love to see if there’s more of a mentor that she has and are yet to be introduced to, where does all this knowledge come from other than studying?
because I’ve watched the SW movies, some scenes in the book feel a little forced instead of a natural flow.

I’ll be DNF’ing this book unfortunately :( While I enjoyed the characters and love the story of Star Wars, I found this very predictable in the sense that it felt like certain things were only mentioned purely for the reason of “this is a Star Wars book let’s throw it in there”. I wanted to push through but didn’t want to keep reading a book that I felt forced (by my own doing) to read as a SW fan

I’m only a little ways in, but the writing style is so smooth and easy to read! I also like seeing the different POV’s already and how they are written (they are spaced out with a divider instead of having their own separate chapters), sometimes you just need that little bit of their thoughts and I really like this aspect!
