The so-called Leicester Kodex of da Vinci contains all manner of amazing insights, including thoughts about erosion and the deposition of fossils and the comparison of the aging of a tree by counting its rings or aging of a ram by the rings in the horns and comparing that to the rings of strata in the Earth made visible by erosion, thus providing a means of dating that geologic feature! what a genius!

Leonardo recognized that light and sound traveled in waves. He also postulated that emotions traveled in waves see his painting, the last supper, and the wave like pattern through the apostles of peaks and valleys between the trios that are gathered.
