There are definitely some cheesy, tropey things in here. But they also feel very intentional. Like, Brooke is really saying, “I want to make a CLASSIC romcom” and when I realize that, it makes the eye-roll moments pretty good. And everything else in this book is soooo good and so fun and so cute. I’m having so much fun

Immediately so cute! Laughed out loud at the prologue. Of course chapter one has some level of like….overly describing who this girl is but that’s part of the genre. I can forgive it
