Haven’t read poetry in YEARS so forgive any ineptitude in current or future analysis or musings but the imagery in this is so weighty and very darkly visceral - love it

Some of my favourite lines so far:
- These streets are lizardy crevices (Kabukicho lol)
- Ungodly as a child’s shriek
- The lopped blood-caul of absences
- The impotent husband slumps out for a coffee
- O golden child the world will kill and eat
