It's pretty good so far. The stories are simple and cover mundane, everyday life of the characters. So I wouldn't say it is exciting. But it is interesting. You end up sympathizing with many of the characters as they face their challenges. Now that I've seen what Ulysses looks like - and have decided it will be a long time before I read that - I can say this is very different from Ulysses. The prose in Dubliners is actually normal and comprehensible...
