Experiencing something from a character's pov and then also having to read them explaining it to the other characters... Why

The stories that people tell recounting events have way too much detail . Sorry im so nitpicky but oh my god i might dnf

Also x2 if ur in someones pov just commit to and stop showing insights and whispers and other shit they wouldn't have heard or whatever like i want to be in one persons head at a time pleaseeeeeee

Also the book insisting on describing every aspect of how every single character looks is making me feel crazy

There's something so emotionless and too matter of fact about the prose and dialogue maybe it's just me ifk

Too many fucking names god help me
