Amy Kelsey This has been a tough read so far. The first few chapters have been railing against the patriarchy in a way that is more bitter and wounded than powerful. I feel like it’s written in the style of a self help book, where the first sections of thr book illustrate and bemoan the situation that the book is preparing to provide a fix for, and in this case, the evils of the patriarchy have already brought most readers to this book, and the illustration seems redundant and unintentionally performative. Here in the third chapter? We aren’t focusing as much on the “bad guy” and the storytelling has begun.
