Personally, I like Kevin DeYoung’s The Biggest Storybook. Doesn’t shy away from some of the stickier stuff and I appreciate that. I know some people found it not as child friendly as they were hoping for. Also appreciated the more abstract art as someone who isn’t a huge fan of God and Jesus being visually portrayed in storybook Bibles.

We really enjoy books from Lithos Kids. Their Kingdom of God OT and NT storybooks are really good. Plus they'll occasionally give out the corresponding audiobooks for free on their site. Great for the kids' quiet times.
We love the Jesus Storybook Bible when the kiddos are babies & toddler age. I'm one of the people from Madelyn's comment - we didn't think The Biggest Storybook was very well written for small kids even down to some of his trying-to-be-clever moments that were just confusing even for Maddie. Nathan for sure got nothing out of it. We've done Jesus Storybook for the wee little years and now that we have a kindergartener (😳) we're just reading the actual Bible (the International Children's Bible is helpful for the stage we're at).
