The main character in a letter says "I'm a girl. Trust me." And that more or less sums up the narration style of this book. Weir's opposition of politics in arts is incredibly clear. Gender, class, and race are all discussed in the book, but it's all incredibly shallow to the degree of feeling mocking. Every other page talks about sex, which I suppose is how he thinks all teenage girls are. Smh.
