This has been a deathguard novel so far but I'm loving it.

Coming into the final quarter this book continues to cement itself as a death guard novel above all else. Definitely feel like I've moved into the selected reading part one now or am at least very close (im just gonna read in standard order doe myself).

As much as I am still loving this book personally as a Nathaniel Garro fan, I think this is the first thus far that feels the least tied to progressing the central over arching plot, with the majority of this novels first half showcasing a time period we have already seen ahead of in book 3 from a different. perspective.

Guess I'm naming one of my boys Nathaniel Garro in honour of the battle captain of the death guards seventh company.

Mortarion as a loyalist has so much aura, bro is just aura farming with his scythe. Loving the death guard focus right now.
