I must say that I loathe Miss Lucy Steele. How cruel can one be to just casually drop the fact that she's engaged to the guy Elinor likes on her like she did?!
But also, it reminds me how contemporary this novel is in the sense that the struggles of love and finding one's person and love triangles are still very much a part of our modern loves and discourse. These struggles are a part of the human condition.
