If I ever become a parent I will never push them past conversational neutrality. I will respect their emotions, I will let them vent to me all they want. I will uplift them in every way I know how.
I won’t ever be someone who can’t hold their anger or resentment back for a second since they didn’t consent to being here. Fear-based learning will end with me too.
It’s disgusting.

If they’re a male I will tell them to grow tall & be strong. They will absolutely not be circumcised.

I don’t care who you are what you are or how hard you work we will throw hands if you even suggest mutilating my son.
They will also know funerals or dinners are control mechanism. They won’t know what being controlled or hurt is. I do not care at all if they choose not to go to mine. That’s the problem with America, we don’t make as much sense as we think we do.
