@megan honestly the MMC is a player and objectifies women a lot but, as far as i can tell, it’s because of his family trauma and his past. it was icky to read at first but now im warming up to him. also I’ve heard books 2-5 are SO much better so im trying to get to those 😌 if you start this one and hate it, you can always try book two instead lol!!!
And even if you end up only tolerating this one, the books (and MMCs) in the series progressively get better!
