I told Chess pretty much everything, but one thing I’d kept carefully hidden from her was the existence of Goodreads. If she ever took to writing reviews, she would definitely make some people cry.

Why's he already in love with her from the first page???? That's not fun at all! Like it would've been okay if he was in love and I couldn't tell, it was from her POV. But it's the opposite, it's His POV and he's in love. Where the hell is the slow burn??? He's already ashed.
