I can begin to see the potential twist, with regards to a certain Reed Oliveria -- even if the twist may be a bit too easily telegraphed, still enchanted by the prose and the ensemble of characters. Finding out more about the Coldwater family and their connections to the Blackburns, with Gage getting more fleshed out -- interested to find out more!

And now, Nor and Fern have come to blows — it’s good to see Reuben Finch, and good to see Nor have one moment of happiness with Reed, swimming in the luminisecnt ocean (still have my doubts about Reed). Now Nor’s evacuated to the Coldwaters; The Five of Swords, the Fool and the Tower cards have being drawn (at least Walton knows her tarot cards and didn’t draw the Death card).
