I read the first book a few months ago. It was okay. Nothing spicy. Decided to give this a try but I’m conflicted. Usually when one of the MCs is in a relationship at the beginning of the book , authors tend to make the boyfriend/girlfriend a bad person so that the other MC can be a hero or to give the MCs a reason to get together and don’t call it cheating.

It seems this is what we are getting in this book
