Hard work to read in my opinion, doesn’t grab you and make you want to keep reading. The author has a very odd writing style in that you find yourself constantly reading back to check who is talking! An intricate, yet very slow and drawn out plot with an underwhelming conclusion. Won’t be reading a ‘Vera’ again anytime soon!
