Nabi and Suleiman’s story is a plot twist I didn’t see coming. I am in awe , what strikes me to this point is the companionships Nabi & Suleiman shared , tay he stays till the very end. How beautiful .

So far, so good and pretty (sad). I didn’t realise until I was a few chapters in that the trip to Kabul & everything Abdullah was feeling was cause he was ‘losing’ his sister . Only realised a few chapters later & I love how unpredictable it is .

I underrated just how much there is to learn about parts of the world we have never been through reading. The war in Afghanistan, what was after and where the people are today are aspects that piqued my interest in such an unassuming way.
