Oh that’s why

Ugh I’m already doubting whether to finish this book or not. I love the premise, I just (again) don’t like that the mmc is “not a gentleman”. Twisted Games had a warning at the beginning of the book, this one doesn’t. Though by book 4 in this series any ready has to know what they’re getting into. It’s basically the same broody mmc, just with a different life, looks and fmc.
