I thought this book was whimsical and cute at first, but the whimsy is just a beard for some truly horrific scenes, the whiplash is crazy! I am currently questioning the original authors sanity and appreciate the translators side notes throughout. Based on the other books this publishing company has translated and published, I could have expected such absurd and macabre scenes 😅
