“The Games We Play” has been my favorite story so far. I’ve always loved mythology—especially Egyptian mythology—and I immediately found myself drawing parallels to Anubis and themes of death, identity, and judgment. The story inspired me, I looked into the symbolism, such as the “ten thousand colors,” I ended up reading this story three times, and each reread revealed something new.
