I’m a little more than halfway through now, and I do not believe much more will happen, as everyone said: it is very much a vibe read, not a plot read. Vibes are described so immaculately that I almost feel the San Fran night breeze. It is too much male gaze for me, that I can only tolerate through a thick romanticizing lens of “she doesn’t know better”.
