i love the way this book was written. the description of girlhood and what it feels like to fight with your mom in your teenage years is so real. the way she describes herself and her feelings i feel like i can really relate to. she sounds like who i was as a teenager. all the descriptions of things are so unique, “everyone else had a skeleton, and i was just a bunch of organs.” like that’s me
