I don't know why I'm reading 4 books but I am. And now I'm watching these 5 boys go off to war and I am willing to bet I will be sobbing by the end of this. Thumbs down on the name Ambrose though. I keep saying AmberRose in my head and it's cheesing me off.

Something about this is abrasive to me. I'm having a hard time emotionally connecting to the characters but it is a great book. I think it'd be more devastating if I could get into either mindset.
