might DNF…. 😖 the writing is just cornyyy. im nearly 1/3 through and still not connected w the characters at allll. just trite fr. more telling than showing. and the cartoonishly evil stepparent plot line is cringing me out… maybe i’ll give it until halfway before i call it quits
