Dumas realizes that we all have a little anxiety around the police, he's real for that. Also hoping Andrea gets his comeuppance, I really can't stand the guy.

The ending with Ferdinand is not what u expected but I’m glad revenge is was done. I feel bad for Mercedes even though she did not love him. Sort of with she could reunite with her prior love, but it seems it won’t happen :(

Albert is being dumb again getting in a duel. I know he doesn’t know is father is awful but still. Monte Cristo is good for staying out of this. I kinda hope Albert doesn’t die tho, I feel sort of a fondness for him. Partially because I like Mercedes but also because I feel like he has his charm.

Albert really does not care about anything. I would feel bad for Eugene but I think she’s in love with her blonde piano teacher instead. I like how Count is switching it up on Danglas saying he should be thinking of Albert but Albert is basically self-sabotaging his own engagement which is really… something.

Glad Valentine is finally sticking up for herself. I have a feeling that someone is behind these mysterious deaths. Though I’m not sure what’ll happen next with that.

The count really won’t eat the grapes wow. Also love how the is shows the universal experience of being awkward around your ex. Great chapter.

“Valentine is almost 19 now it’s about time she gets married” ~ I’m so grateful we’re (mostly) no longer living a timeline where people still say this
