This one was interesting for me because I liked the writing a lot but then the actual plot felt very disjointed in places and didn’t have any sensitivity to how it wove the traumatic and mundane together. So like I ended up not disliking it but I also don’t think it lives up to how it’s advertised and it’s not a book I think is going to be memorable for me.

I don’t remember the second half being significantly different from the first just as an FYI
