im likely not going to finish book two in one sitting
not do i want to force myself to stay awake
bleh
i have such trouble taking care of myself.
sleeping at a reasonable time

i’m dehydrated and restless

i feel marginally better but still

nearly five hundred pages

i feel ill

a fever coming on maybe

i might do a lot of pausing in this reread

and bc ive forgotten the majority of this book besides that sphinx blood and the vore blood guy at the end
i think???
i recall very little
but i’m going to guess i’ll need to skim over all the excessive sex scenes

i feel like crap waking up

but decided to start on my reread list with this book

so far
i’m a few pages in
and already i feel some type of way
kind of giddy to be back in this world

ive decided not to reread the main series
it’s just so fucking long and ive reread this series at least three times now ??

although i’m already eager for book two of this spin off(?) series

more BLOODS!!!

i’m adding so many rereads to my reading list tonight

mainly bc i’m seeing new books and sequels FINALLY out

so i’ll have to reread this book before starting book two

this was alright
dulled by the fact that it’s just another cliffhanger ending up in the air

ugh

i liked the acknowledgement at least of vivian saying she preferred being the only female Blood of sharas
that whole thing was bothering me

i’m not satisfied in general with how this story left me
i wonder if i’ll be excited whenever the fuck the next and hopefully but unlikely, conclusion will be out

one of sharas last thoughts in this book was at least one more Blood out there waiting for her

then thierry the bird spirit is still here

i need to find a new story to dive into

The story has me hooked mostly
The execution leaves much to be desired half the time
I like it
And it’s memorable
I wish I could love it

Maybe I’ll do a rewrite

Main problems with this book
Hasn’t really changed throughout the series

Lack of editing
Repetitive sex scenes
the overuse of the word fuck
Lack of character building and relationships
Cringe dialogue most of the time
Everyone basically sounds the same

I’ve been rereading this book the last few days
After randomly getting the urge
I wish this was a complete series already

I’ll have to check my notes
I vaguely recall not enjoying this at all the first time around

But I’m enjoying it more rn
