Ugh. The unschoolers. They give all homeschoolers a bad name. And that’s the type of schooling that was being pursued in this guy’s house.

I’m a homeschool mom so I was curious to read a memoir from someone who had been homeschooled. Unfortunately, it seems that only books about kids who suffered through homeschooling with mentally ill parents ever get published. “Educated” was another in this genre (although a lot of Educated rang false to my ears whereas Homeschooled seems truer. Gut feeling.)
