The characters are far more engaging than I expected going into this, and I'm actually feeling the chemistry between the romantic leads, which feels like a minor miracle at this point, considering how underwhelmed I've been with many of the main couples that I've been reading so far this year. Plus, the FMC seems to be bi, so that's definitely a bonus!
