Even though I've gotten this far in, I feel no closer to understanding Olaf Tryggvarson, despite his significant influence, he's very enigmatic. Unlike Hollway's Hardrada work, this feels more like Tore Skei's The Wolf Age, it feels more like a general narrative of the time rather than the centring on Olaf.
