So far, Keith's writing and lust to keep every page interesting is not disappointing me. This book is firmly intertwined with the plot events that occur in the prequel "The Blood King" where an ordinary peasant named Kertram is involved in a heap of new problems when he discovers his wife had triplets instead of twins. I had wanted to read this book for a long time and I am enjoying it very much so far.
