Don’t say “if” or “might” in an apology • Don’t correct someone unless they are saying a name or pronoun incorrectly • Resort to fact checking to learn together • Don’t speak on behalf of another person but turn to them directly to include them. • Don’t be vulgar or profane in front of elderly, children or in restaurants.

No one is above a greeting and no one is below receiving one. • When you greet someone, say their name and say it correctly. Remind them how happy you are to see them. Empathize that. This is often forgotten.
