This book is actually so bad. I don't know why this isn't a YA book. Evie is so cringe and are we so fr, the mmc is actually called "The Villain"? And i would assume this is meant to take place in a medieval type world so why is she speaking as if she's from the modern world? Every other page I'm rolling my eye because this is the most juvenile writing I've encountered in an adult book.

I'm so bored. The romance is kinda cute but also like, so cliche to the point I'm wondering if the author took a general romance plot outline and used it for this book. And dare I say his pov is even worse than hers. It's like a teenager who's trying to be edgy. None of the reveals are surprising either, it's just like "ah, okay" and that's it.
