Igar cannot separate the Force and the way of the Jedi. He once idolized the past. To fight. At what cost though. Igar sees only logic.The audiobook gives me more answers now. Igar sees the Jedi Order as a religious order by the way they interpret the force,faith & destiny which did not in his opinion line up with military pursuits. The propaganda works/ his beliefs- Vader as perfect weapon for the Empire, wisdom too

Riz knows what the Empire does is wrong and she wants to atone. She could have been the first person on the amnesty program? Riz really shows us her curious nature that questions things. And also she has been traumatized.The Empire doesn’t care for their soldiers.They aren’t people cause she’s hot and having a horrible time inside the suit on Endor.She’s definitely a pacifist but on the wrong side of history

The way that Riz had to join & be a pawn as a stormtrooper. Just a number. She has had noble intentions as she served as a stormtrooper but that has never been the case. She has seen her commander die because of her empathy towards a target. She also saved Leia.She’s so truly honest with herself and the ending protocol is such a fitting short story name.I didn’t know the helmets had a countdown feature if removed

Arvel Crynd believed in hope. In the pilots he trained. The way that the culmination of moments occurs. As long as you put your steps forward. Pushing yourself forward in positive ways it’s not impossible. Like the ash birds on Sullust. Pieter and Arvel have so much in common. He believes in the team. It’s really nice piece of rebellion storyline! series of events that shaped Arvel & people he personally mentored

He had special interests in starfighters, his deepest intimate parts/phrases stem from the world of hyperspace travel. The stars & engines.To teach, to trust. To believe in each other.To see a teacher evolve after one curious encounter. How one barrel roll evolves to more complex teachings.Expertise is valuable & kindness

Conviction, speed, conciseness, care, community, the good fight. Admiral Ackbar! I love the audiobook’s music and narration. Exceptional in both graphic novel and audio formats. It feels like it’s straight out of the movie. He’s a thoughtful leader that did experience anxiety bc of responsibility and respect. He takes this with great responsibility!

The way that Igar describes the beauty of the forest at night. It’s sort of lyrical poetry. I love how this guy cares for the greater picture and is really a soldier. Truly describes a veteran i suppose. Idk.

The way the Rebel Alliance cares for its people/members. To fight with dignity. The way Admiral Ackbar acknowledges that everyone is more than just soldiers or pawns. They are multifaceted individuals ready to rebel and rebuild the galaxy!

When Admiral Ackbar has this inner thoughts is very sweet and rousing. How he treats his people as the tactician is very clear indeed of care. This section is graphic novel format and that is fun.

The way Igar needs retirement so bad. He has a healthy dialogue with the elusive black cloaked man. It’s truly fun when the cliffhanger reveals Luke connected to Vader. That would turn my head. The implication that words matter a lot more now. The way there’s this quiet intensity. Luke has gotten more perspective on the Jedi via Igar. This was a quick story. This book has explored how the war’s end’s messy.?

Altadan Igar. He’s a stoic, worn out soldier. A commander. When there’s this fascinating conversation about war in its facets. He’s surprised when Luke; the man clad in black speaks and holds his answers. They sound sure and tranquil and trying to find the certainty via learning through listening. Luke’s not fighting. He’s surrendered.
