I really liked the stuff about the first men / pre conquest stuff! I skipped over a lot of the Targaryen history stuff because it was all in Fire and Blood. Right now I’m on Aegon the Unworthys reign and whew he was certainly a rowdy guy. I’m waiting to read more until I read AKOTSK in full so I don’t spoil myself on any of that.
