Apparently I enjoy being emotionally destroyed by a book.
Gracie's walk through grief was a gut punch but also joyful. The questions she asks herself are raw and honest and real. The last 100 pages wrecked me.
(I will say: after the first impression we get of her, I did not come back around on Maisy, but that might just be my profession and knowing a list of do not asks is to be followed.)
