The way she's describing Southerners (crazy accents, 25 Jesus portraits in one room, local broccoli festival, etc.) is honestly kinda foul and offensive. I checked and the author is from Maryland so I don't get why she's describing people from South Carolina like they're insane and from "the boonies" (direct quote).
