Apparently there was a lot of poverty during the period of the first Industrial Revolution. Fair enough. We're going thru another rn as this new cold war proceeds. Semiconductors, hypersonic missiles, AI and data centers feels like how it manifests rn. Lo and behold there is immense poverty, at least in the US side of the current industrial revolution
