Reading about #ENDSARS and the story just makes me sad all over again. Enough is enough

I love how this book touches on topics that happened over the years. Now, we are talking about the journalist that went undercover about grade for sex, but twisted in to fit this political narrative, and I love it.

Mind you the book is almost done and I was low key wishing to read from Eriife’s perspective. I’m not interested.

Hmm.. Subconsciously we end up doing things like our parents, because we were brought up by this ways. It’s up to us to detach ourselves from the bad things. We have to actively work on not doing those things.

We are reading from Zina’s perspective now.I love a go-getter, she fights for what she wants. Her father gives me the ick, doing arrangi marriage for all his female children - insert side eye.

Why do some mothers always want to rub their youth negatively on their children. Don’t get me wrong I know Zina wanting to be an actress is a lot , and the chances are slim, but a mother shouldn’t discourage like that.
