I'm a bit miffed at Bowers for his "cover up" to keep Radar from scrutiny. I'm not sure I can trust him anymore.

Joshua is getting sloppy and Bowers is using his training to track him. Almost caught in this read but of course he manages to slip away. Steven James is keeping me baited, wanting to find out what happens next. So after a short break I'll return to the book.

Joshua's life is a throbbing contradiction: "What I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. For to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." Romans 7:15,18,19

As an opening note to his readers, Steven James writes, "I hope that my books never glamorize evil, but instead do the very opposite and tell the truth about how disturbing and pervasive it is in our world. I also hope that, when possible, the stories can point us past the darkness and help us awaken to something better than the nightmares that all too often plague us in real life."
