I find that she addressed the dram with the father of her child very professionally and brought up some good points with performers on and off stage. Celebrities are always performing and the audience tends to think they know someone so well since they’ve been watching them for so long from afar, but that is often times far from the truth of who they really are!

I was unaware of how spiritual Kiki was, a lot of her life views being centred around god and the zodiac

She makes such good points in this book. I like how she talks about feminism is truly about the right to being an individual. If women were allowed to be empowered, so would men but right gender rules hinder this for everyone involved.

I was inspired to read Lauren (Keke’s book) after watching a recent TedTalk of hers. When reflecting on her life I related to a few things she’d had to overcome and now reading her book, I’m looking forward to seeing how her mindset helped her overcome hardship and become the amazing person she is today!
