I've completed The Great Santini and The Lords of Discipline and am more than half-way through The Prince of Tides. I'm taking a break. These books are LONG reads. The Great Santini: Too sarcastic and male macho.
The Lords of Discipline also carried on the same line of sarcasm and belittling children and spouse abuse. Not a fan of either book.
