I mean, I'm glad we finally get some Mothman in out book about Mothman, but Keel writes like a cross between a 3edgy5me teenager and a college sophomore trying to hit a word count while stoned halfway into next week.

Another disappointment. The chapter "The Flutter of Black Wings" not about Mothman. *sigh* (Another review suggested that Mothman proper doesn't come up until chapter six, appropriately titled "Mothman!", though based on what I know already, he has made like two cameos so far. Which is disappointing because I'm three chapters into a book titled The Mothman Prophecies.)

In all seriousness, the average consumer is going to look at the title amd expect two things: Mothman, and ill omens. It's the middle of chapter 2 and we have had no ill omens, one Mothman, and an entire chapter about Keel misleading the "backwards yokels" "by accident".
